A bit of an attempt at a day list today, resulted in a decent total of 76 Species not bad considering the gloom, and with only 2 sites visited it wasn't too bad an effort. The following where the best of the bunch:
Bearded Tit(2,Ness Lake,Far-Ings).
Drake Smew(Outdoor Pursuit Lake,Far-Ings).
1st winter male Marsh Harrier(Hunting around the same lake as the above species, with another juv/ist winter in the murk at Worlaby).
8 Whooper Swan(On the Humber shore between Barton and Barrow Haven,no doubt part of the regular wintering flock from New Holland).
4 Stonechat(2m,2f),at Worlaby
1 Barn Owl at Worlaby
Also seen at Worlaby, but not by myself was a Ringtail Hen Harrier.

Steve
