Masses of butterflies on the wing this afternoon,with 17 species being seen and which included my largest personal count of Peacock,the following is what i recorded in 4 hrs:

305 Peacock(Which included 37 on one buddlia bush).

9 Small Tortoiseshell
42 Large White
23 Small White
5 Red Admiral
141 Painted Lady
51 Gatekeeper
34 Meadow Brown
9 Common Blue
13 Brown Argus
4 Small Copper
8 Green-veined White
14 Speckled Wood

1 Small Skipper
