An afternoon visit with my son, Alex to Santon Warren, aka Yarborough Warren.
Grayling - 4 : smaller number than expected despite flogging the Lincs Butterfly Group usual site at the far end see Photo Album - one on Alex's T shirt Wall - 3 Small Tortoiseshell - 2 Brown Argus - 2 Speckled Wood - 6 Brimstone - 2 (males) Red Admiral - 2 Small Copper - 1 Comma - 3 Common Blue - 2 dozens of Whites - Large White Small White Green-veined White plus large numbers of - Painted Lady Peacock Meadow Brown Gatekeeper No Skippers seen. (17 species in all)
