BTO Atlas and Bird Ringing Meeting with Breakfast at Welbourn.

This is a FREE meeting for BTO members and LBC members.

As we move into the third year of the BTO Bird Atlas we are holding an event to brief everyone of the current state of play of the atlas and encourage further support for years 3 and 4. The next winter period for surveys starts on 1st November so we hope the date is both timely and convenient for you.

To add interest, Andrew Chick will be doing a ringing demonstration, weather permitting, and will bring any catches up to the barn at Hilltop Farm, Welbourn, where we will assemble.

We will start at 8 am with a breakfast bun and tea/coffee. We expect to be finished by 10 am but there is no obligation to stay if you have other commitments on the Saturday morning. Just turn up promptly at 8 am, when we shall have an Atlas briefing lasting about twenty minutes.

I hope you can come along and please let me know by email to nyika@biosearch.org.uk we need to know numbers please!

Best wishes,
Peter Overton
Regional Representative for BTO West Lincolnshire
Sponsoring the Kestrel in the new Atlas
and
Andrew Chick
Chairman - Lincolnshire Bird Club
