The Lincolnshire Bird Club

At the end of this month my daughter and I are travelling to India to stay in Bandhavgarh National Park working as volunteers on a tiger conservation project. We will be involved in various projects including working with wildlife researchers, including setting up remote cameras, tracking tigers and leopards, collecting scats and taking casts of pug marks etc, Also we will be working in the community lending a hand with the tribal youth projects, medical camps and also assisting with English lessons in the village school. An adventure for sure and also lots of free time to go birding
We are spending a whole month there and have a lot of travelling to do! We have two nights in Delhi and two 16 hour overnight sleeper train journeys to contend with - all part of the fun!

I have updated the blog today with some more pics. I still have some more to go on sometime this week too.
I am not enjoying the cold weather but at least the sun has been shining a bit since I got back.

It really was an amazing trip and I cant wait to go back
