While visiting MSQ and hoping to do the WeBS saw loads of dragons! The most were while I was sat at the seat just past the dipping platform, I sat here about forty-five minutes wondering if I could go any further because the back pain was playing up. Just before I reached here I counted a minimum of a dozen dragons, then at the seat another dozen and a half were seen. Near the outfall pipe path counted at least another dozen.

Because of limited movement in my body it was virtually impossible to ID any except the Common Darter of which I counted about a dozen including the one next to me on the seat. None of the bigger ones actually landed which didn't help. On checking the field guide when I got home I saw there wasn't much of a choice as to their ID.

At least the dragon experts know there are still plenty at MSQ when they visit

Kind regards

John

Saw quite a few more dragons today but only the darters landed.

Saw 4 dragons along dyke at Black Bank all had blue on their bodies. Also saw several at Laughton including 4 Common Darter.
