Churchill lane to Brickyard lane 9 woodcock, few thrushes on the plentiful hawthorn and sea buckthorn fruit,
Rimac foreshore 1 S E Owl, 9 whooper swans s 36 pink foot s at 1600 to1615 hrs in - 6.0oc, ( - 8.0oc at 0900hrs today) much of the foreshore frozen, regards John.

a roosting flock of 54 barnacle geese on the outer Theddlethorpe
beach this morning c 700 common gulls and a wide selection of waders
along the intertidal zone, 0900 to 1000 hrs, nothing seen on the sea. (weather cold dreak and grey ) regards John.

walk via Rimac to Haven and back home,sightings inculded a roosting flock of 364 pinkfoots flew off the beach and spent the morning feeding on local oilseedrape, a bittern and 2 water rail in a reedy ditch,
1 brown and 1 grey hen harrier, 1 merlin, 2 red throat divers n,
and 3 scaup n. regards John.

061210 cold sunny and clear - 6.0oc at 0900hrs
14 bewick swans sw, after reasobly high tide a wash out of star fish
c 1200 herring c 200 gbb and 2 lbb gulls feeding, also 23 snow buntings south of crook bank, spent 2.5 hours on beach and saw nothing on the sea or any colour rings on the gulls, harrier roost survey 1545 to 1615,hrs, 1 grey, and 3 water rails screaming. John.
