Flock of feeding sea ducks just south of northern reserve boundary had:

Common Scoter - c540 all imm/fem types except for 1 ad m. Diving for razor shells in shallow water around low tide. Amazing to watch them swallow a whole razor shell - sword swallowing comes to mind!!
Velvet Scoter - 13 including 9 imms/ 2 ad m / 2 ad fem. Increased from 7 on friday.
Eider - 7

Also 7 Snow Buntings and a marked increase in numbers of Larus argentatus argentatus feeding along the tide edge.
