6 Barn Owls seen on the 60 mile journey over the Wolds from Skegness to Kirton-in-Lindsey in the small hours of this morning (10th).....

Burgh-le-Marsh, Welton-le-Marsh, Burwell, South Elkington, West Rasen and Bishopbridge, it would suggest the population has recovered well from last winter's harsh conditions.

a bit scarce up here in the frozen north, cant say i have had a sighting this year, last year a regular bird around tetney grainthorpe etc :( :(
