Hi All.
Pallas's Warbler reported at Donna Nook today. 200yds South of 'Sheep Pen'. Plus Yellow-browed at the sheep pen.

I would appreciate anyone giving me direction to this 'Sheep Pen' please. :?
As I'm going birding their at some point tomorrow.

Thank you in anticipation.

I think the sightings were in 'quad 3' - right at the south end where the Glossy Ibis was a few years back.
It is likely to be a needle in a haystack job.

Good luck!

The Pallas's was initially in the willows by the northern flash at quad 3, by the afternoon it had then moved a bit further south, in the willows and sycamores at the southern end of the flash. The Yellow-browed, which appeared later in the day, was in the same area.

Reply to Derick Evans query. The sheep pen at Donna Nook should be sheep enclosure. There is a Willow Hedge along the northernmost borrow pit about 1 km south of coastguard cottages where both birds have been with Goldcrests. Pallas's has been present for two days.

Went down today Just to see the seals and was very disapointed to see at least 10 people in amongst the seals! Saw and spoke to one of the volunters there and he was furious!! They were distant and didnt take my camera otherwise would have tried to get a shot and posted on the forum. Name and shame them!

Hi Steve, didn't notice this in your post earlier :

1 Central Asian/Desert-Lesser Whitethroat

is that a county first ? There didn't seem to be any further comment ?
