I had a juvenile Swallow at Goxhill on the 14th December 1987.

I think they've been recorded in every month except Jan? But is there a way of quickly finding out earliest and latest without having to trawl through every bird report? Where would you go to find if Steve's was the latest or not?

John

Message received from Phil Hyde - presumably the same bird over Gib today.

although I have no documentation of it I recall the late Derek Robinson telling me of a Swallow in Goxhill Marsh on Boxing day either in the 50's or 60's -- sadly I cannot find any reference to the record anywhere;
A Sand Martin at Barton on November 20th 1980 is probably more remarkable for this typically early departing hirundine
