The new site manager ( part time) for the nnr is now based at the nnr office and
living at Sandbanks, name Peter Roworth, who began his conservation carreer in the 1970s with the Lincs Trust also worked for RSPB, English Nature, now Natural England.

John,
I'm pleased a familiar face has taken over - it's a long time since Peter was the LWT reserve manager based at Kirkby Moor.

Yes Stuart its 34 years ago he used to drive the massey 35x to various reserves for management including Linwood warren. he and i met at Kirby moor and walked the newly managed ditch system which became very good dragonfly habitats, with several scarce species in those days.
