My low-key post of 5th January regarding a possible Louth Peregrine update has prompted 4 follow-up posts to date :
(John Lusby) - with positive and helpful comments.."will make enquiries (at LWT Horncastle)" "will report back soon".
(John Clarkson) - with both barrels firing.."discussion is redundant" "no need for any additional input"....= clear off !
(Stuart Britton) - with supporting artillery.. "people not fully acquainted with the facts" "adverse effect".... = clear off !
(Geoff Mullett) - the sort of informative and genial answer I'm sure members were hoping for.
As John Lusby clearly intends/ now 'intended' ? to call in at the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust HQ in Horncastle next week, and as it would be tremendous news if LWT became interested in sponsoring 2012 or future Louth Peregrines, I consider that could only be a praiseworthy step....which no-one else in Louth has reported on as having taken to date. I would have thought such additional input would be welcomed rather than rebuffed. (NB. John Lusby is a Louth resident).
Further, were the rancorous comments referenced above directed at John Lusby, me or both of us ? Perhaps living in Lincoln as I do, it's considered that I shouldn't have raised the question of LOUTH Peregrines ? My post of 5th January merely asked for any update on a thread which had attracted c 400 views from interested members and therefore deserved more encouraging and positive input than some of that evidenced above.
Anyway, thank you, John L. and Geoff, for your positive and encouraging posts.
