Still there at about 4pm from the bench on the sea bank. You'll have to search among the starlings as it is mobile.

Is that the bench that's more or less in front of you when you climb the steps from that little car park, or one of the ones further along?

We called in at Frampton this afternoon on our way back from Norfolk.
The Starling flock is almost impossible to view as the birds drop down into the long grass to feed - hence the absence of pictures.
The Black-necked Grebe was still showing from the 360 hide, but typical of the species, was spending most of the time under water.

My first visit to Frampton Marsh and I was quite impressed and hope that the Donna Nook realignment scheme will be similar and also be managed by the RSPB.
I didn't see the hoped for Rose-coloured Starling but a part sum plum Curlew Sandpiper was good, also there were 2 Ruff, 20ca. Black-tailed Godwit, 4 drake Pochard and the Black-necked Grebe.
A Vampire flew over, perhaps will be appearing at the Waddington airshow?
