Does anyone know of a place where I could rent a Scope from? Just for 1 week at the end of July.

Do not know of a rental site but you can buy a new Barr and Stroud 15 to 45 x 60 scope with stay on case
for 78£ and its a very reasonable scope, google scopes n skies if interested.
regards John.

I'm surprised that you, of all people, Nick have never enjoyed an occasional spoot! I understand it's all the rage with the staff of Anglian Water!

No prob Anthony, congratulations on your first scope, a momentous occasion for any birdwatcher. Enjoy your new scope and enjoy your holiday. As for the urban dictionary's description of spooting I am relieved that my spooting scope is not HD!

I love having a scope should have got one sooner. My first outing with it and I managed to get White rumped sandpiper and Turtle Dove in it.
