Phil and Stuart,

Having had my knuckles rapped (more than once) by a certain member from the Market Rasen area, it's a pleasure to be able to return the compliment. :D :) :D :)

Freddy
PS. Now let's wait for the return event......could even be quite soon as I have an "iffy" project on the drawing boards for 'Bird Chat' in the near future.

So now I'm a bit confused. I have been putting reports into BirdTrack for a few years, but have been told quite a few times that I should join LBC and input local sightings as well. I've recently input onto the site my low tide WeBs, which will of course go into the BTO, but having a table of all counts over several miles of the LIncs coast would have been interesting to see in this format. I got a positive repines from Andrew, but don't want to carry on if it's not of interest.
Just on turtle doves, we have 4 pairs here on the Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe NNR, all in a half mile stretch and 1 pair has my garden within it's territory. 4 is double last years total, but the males are all calling vigorously again, so I'm assuming they haven't been successful on first attempts.

regards
Cliff

Cliff, there are few rules about what you put on here other than in connection with rare breeding birds. You can post whatever you wish. Many people only report highlights of what they've seen and everyone has their own view of what a highlight is. Its up to you mate. You can get a good idea of how interested people are by how many views you get and the number of responses.

Thanks for the news on Turtle Doves. The coast seems to be the only part of NE Lincs that still gets a few birds.
