Was told of a sighting this morning by two Birder`s of a R.L.B. near Cement Works Ferriby.

the juv - iw was at South Ferriby 2010 - 2011 by the way not 2011 - 2012; RLB seldom return to wintering areas being essentially nomadic in their search for highly productive breeding and wintering areas and this can see birds 1000's of miles from areas where they bred or wintered from one year to the next as they are so heavily dependent on vole populations --
