A couple of hours down the fen this afternoon produced;
1 Buzzard
3 Kestrel
1 Peregrine, near the sugar beet factory.
1 Male Merlin hunting along one of the drains then perched in sweetcorn stubble.
6 Whooper Swans.
Several small flocks of Redwing, Fieldfare and Goldfinch, looking great in late afternoon sunshine.
And one solitary Waxwing in the bushes near the settling ponds.
Driving back through Boothby Graffoe one female Sparrowhawk ghosting along the lane.

Cheers,

Oliver.
