Highlights from Covenham this pm:

The 1st-winter Black-throated Diver still present (record shot in photo album)
6 Goosander
2 Common Scoter
1 Sanderling
1 Common Buzzard
1 ad Med Gull
80+ Fieldfare

2 Woodcock along the lane adjacent to the south wall

4/12/12

Spent 6 hours at Covenham today and it was well worth it.

1 Black-throated Diver still present. Showed well at times.
1 Black Redstart, in the Anglian water grounds.
2 Common Scooter
5 Whooper Swan
2 Goosander
2 Pochard
1 1st Winter Med Gull
1 Sanderling


The 1st Winter Med Gull was my 100th Species at Covenham :D Cheers Steve :wink:

Just seen a report from a bird service that the Black Redstart was at Covenham today. Now been present for 4 months 3 day!!
