looking very disturbed today as the morons were launching their jet skis -- apparently it was nearly cleaned up by one last week -- the human planet no room for birds

While watching the GND today a few Birdwatchers including myself had an air gun pellet whizz past out ears striking the trees behind us. Lovely place.

Would appear Graham was right about morons using this lake then..
Glad I visited and left early, only seeing the GND and fishermen.

Have you reported the shooting incident to the police Russell?
The next visiting birders might not be so lucky to only hear the pellet whizz past!!!!

I recall visiting this place some years ago, pre- new housing estate.
Having just arrived at the Lakeside and being informed that a car was now stood on bricks.
