Edmund Mackrill and i walked the full circular footpath at Frampton and also a visit to the neaby Kirton Marsh nnr we etimated a total of 15000 lapwings and 5000 golden plovers on the grasslands and saltmarsh / foreshore we counted and aged 2200 dark bellied brents and another 1300 were not aged, also seen 1 ad male heh harrier 1 merlin c 350 pink foots, 3 scaup, 1 female red crested pochard, all in splendid bright sunshine. For thrush survey data just 7 redwing and 4 blackbirds in the extensive hedgerow along the west and north Frampton boundary. regards John.
