1 spotted redshank on lagoon
Masses of birds especially lapwing and golden plover but plenty of usual waders and ducks.
Perfect afternoon, windless and with setting sun showing off reserve to its best.

Edmund Mackrill and i walked the full circular footpath at Frampton and also a visit to the neaby Kirton Marsh nnr
we etimated a total of 15000 lapwings and 5000 golden plovers on the grasslands and saltmarsh / foreshore
we counted and aged 2200 dark bellied brents and another 1300 were not aged, also seen 1 ad male heh harrier 1 merlin
c 350 pink foots, 3 scaup, 1 female red crested pochard, all in splendid bright sunshine.
For thrush survey data just 7 redwing and 4 blackbirds in the extensive hedgerow along the west and north Frampton boundary.
