White tailed Eagle seen over Sutton on Sea around 2.30pm - very dark bird. Headed down coast towards Huttoft.

Was at work at time, only had work camera with me thats not much good for flight photos. Only photo woth viewing has been posted to Rare Birds.

always seems odd how such a huge bird can appear and disappear without trace in such a highly populated country as you would assume it has not crossed into Norfolk maybe worth checking the Wolds!

the last one went missing for days at a time being seen from norfolk suffolk scarborough derbyshire etc and yes horseshoe point area :D :D

Reported as a juv. on Birdforum, it flew over Hunstanton yesterday afternoon. A sage reminder of how few rarities we find when these sea-beasts go missing for weeks on end...
