Cruised past Whalin Lodge at about 1500 hr and soon spotted about 45 waxwings in the tree on the green opposite No 42. In typical waxwing style, they descended on to the cotoneaster in several 'sittings' before returning to their original perch and then flying off to another 'restaurant' at about 1510hr.
