Pair of L SP Woodpeckers showing well this am (7:30) at Hartsholme Park between boat house and cresent pond. Around 15 siskin too and a couple of G Sp woods. 3 bean geese still with a flock of grey lags in ploughed field opposite pits on eagle lane (past whisby nature park and before scotland farm entrance). Far too long since I last saw a LSW................ a nice uplifter after the rugby

Hi. Can you tell me how you get access to Hartsholme Park? Looking at google maps, I'm assuming you turn off the B1378 at some point (I'm coming from Cleethorpes through Lincoln). Is it signposted?

Thanks, G.

Hi Georgia,

To access Hartsholme park turn off the A46 ring road at the Skellingthorpe roundabout, heading into Lincoln on Skellingthorpe road, go through a set of traffic lights and then turn right into Hartsholme park, turning is just before a pedestrian crossing. Park in car park and then walk to boathouse, about 5 minutes walk, birds are generally in area in front of boathouse.

Thanks for the help Andy, will try to find it! (I've got the navigational skills of a pebble.)
