Someone - I don't know who, found 7 Dotterel yesterday at Grainthorpe Haven.
After distant views last evening I returned again today on the off-chance and they were still present.
For Dotterel, they are quite wary and the best views were had from the car.
They were in a field of beans - the last field on the left at the end of Keyholme Lane.

Still present at 2.45, towards the middle of the field, although I was told they been close to the angle of the road and the sea bank earlier.

14 Dotterel present this morning, reasonable views early on but then moved to far side of bean field.

Later in the afternoon they were showing well quite close to the track on the edge of the bean field.

hi the dotterels was still there at 7am this morning good views near the road side on the left hand side bend as you go up to the end to turn around .i was thinging no one would be out at that time of morning but wrong someone from rutland water area was there about 6am .

The Dottrel were still present on the far side of the filed at 17:00 today

I spoke to the farmer this evening who said there were still 4 or 5 this morning while he was crop spraying.
All I saw were 3 Wheatear on the fields and ca.100 Brent Geese on the marsh.
