A Red Kite flew over Saltfleetby St Clements around 4pm this afternoon, I see Terry Whalin had one at North Cotes about 1pm so maybe the same or perhaps a bit of passage?

Geoff the bird I saw was probably an in off over the humber from the general direction of patringham, no sign of moult, no wing tags and drifted slowly inland towards covenham at 2.20 pm. it could have been the same bird or a general movement. 2 of the buzzards I saw were really in a heavy moult with both primary and secondary feathers missing, really scruffy looking and followed the same general direction. :D

terry whalin :D

There was one reported at Gib also, so probably some passage.
