Thanks Andrew.
Reports on OBP & Shrike are from this morning.

Any recent updates on these Donna Nook birds please guys?

With Dusky Warbler at Mablethorpe, Shrikes & Pallas's arriving accross the Humber & easterlies/rain to continue.
Tomorrow in Linc's could be good.
With enough pairs of eyes!

I did a visit from 0900 to 1430.
Highlights were 1 Merlin, 2 Gt Grey Shrike, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 6 Ring Ouzels, 1 Wheatear, 20 Brambling, 15 Mealy Redpoll and a Swallow. ( I did try to put on a full list of birds seen but lost the mobile signal, hope this one goes through OK).

Nice find for one of Linc's best birders,the first at the site since the October 1990 bird I believe.

Numbers of some migrants were certainly under-counted especially during the periods of driving rain. Many of the early thrushes only landed briefly before passing inland, but there seemed to be a steady stream of new arrivals for much of the day. Counts for the south end this morning were 2,000 Redwings, 300 Song Thrushes, 220 Blackbirds, 30 Fieldfares, 12 Ring Ouzels, 250 Robins, 60 Bramblings, 45 Chaffinches, 4 Mealy Redpolls, Richard's Pipit, Common Redstart, Black Redstart, 20 Chiffchaffs, 3 Blackcaps, Yellow-browed Warbler, 100 Goldcrests, Great Grey Shrike, Swallow, Lapland Bunting, Jack Snipe and Woodcock.

Additional birds that I have heard about between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall as well as the Olive-backed Pipit which I just missed included 3 more Great Grey Shrikes, Yellow-browed Warbler, 7 Ring Ouzels, Wheatear, 200 Goldcrests, 30 Chiffchaffs, 20 Blackcaps, 20 Bramblings, 16 Mealy Redpolls, Swallow and Merlin.

about 60 Robins at Pyes Hall and 2 Redstarts; the Great Grey there reduced the number of Robins by one this afternoon;
