Please note that due to the local state of emergency and the overtopping of the main river banks all along the reserve, Blacktoft Sands will be closed until further notice. We do not recommend anyone to visit the site due to the possibility of a full river breach.

It is going to take much of this coming week to try and get the reserve in a safe condition for visitors, until then the reserve will remain closed.

Please check the Blacktoft reserve page on the website, or the reserve blog, for updates on the current situation at the reserve.
