Myself, Phil Espin, John Clarkson and Graham Catley are going out tomorrow on the north Lincs coast looking for the Ivory Gull.
The more birders out there looking the better the chance of adding it to the Lincs list.
Good look to all searchers.

Good thinking Geoff. So you go find it at Donna Nook Geoff & I'm doing from the old 'Wonderland Market' towards Pyewipe. Good luck all.

Hi Andy.
I went to Pyewipe outfall first & then to Cleethorpes at North end of the Prom. Just past Wonderland and spent an enjoyable few hours with Phil Espin.

Think I may have passed you on the way. Noticed 2 scopes but no birders half way along the prom.

As you said Andy. We couldn't quite see it from Cleethorpes either!!
Although an Ivory Gull was reported seen at mouth of Humber this evening, so Cleethorpes again tomorrow maybe eh!

it could see Cleethorpes quite clearly but obviously thought the bright lights were just too much for an arctic waif -- while this bird is at Patrington there could of course be others lurking along the LIncs coast -- I seem to recall someone putting out fish on a daily basis on Fetlar? and eventually getting an Ivory Gull on it but you need to live near the coast and have a ready supply of fish -- if 7 or 8 have been found in Britain and Europe so far then surely there could be several others lurking and with more gales originating in the right area off Greenland there may yet be another arrival --
