A short walk mid afternoon, in the rain, from Bardney to just past the moorings at Bardney Lock revealed:-

Kingfisher 1 Along bank just up from Bardney bridge near mooring pontoon.
Yellowhammers 4
Mallard ducks 7 pairs
Moor Hen 2
Black-headed gull 1
Cormorants 2
Magpies 2
Blue tit 1
Blackbird 2
Swans 100+ species unknown as they were across on arable fields west of the river,
and with poor visibility, too far away to see.
