A productive afternoon's birding for the Year List bought the following Framptonian year ticks:

Snow Bunting - 5 on Reedbed scrape
White-fronted Goose - a couple on the grassland
Reed Bunting - male on feeders
Scaup - M and F on Reedbed Scrape
Snipe - 4 on island on freshwater scrape nearest the road.
Black-tailed Godwit - group grazing on grassland.
Yellowhammer - 1 in hedgerow
Kestrel - 1 hunting around hedgerow upon my arrival

8 in total, bringing my Year List to 62.

In addition, seen by other birders but not me: Kingfisher, Jack Snipe, Barn Owl, Peregrine, Egyptian Goose, Marsh Harrier.

Usual Wigeon, Teal, Pintail, Mallard, Lapwing, Golden Plover, Redshank etc...

Hi,

An unseasonal Little Stint with Dunlin today, along with 3-4 Egyptian Geese, 2 Merlin, 2 Peregrines, 2 Scaup, the usual harriers on the marsh, 5 Snow Buntings and the usual several thousand Golden Plovers wheeling around. Nice!

John
