Bird still present at 0800 this morning. Very approachable by car but wary of people on foot and pushbikes. Essentially on private land at TF547724 on approach to fishing lakes but Land owner spoken to and happy for birders to visit. Bird is either in a grass paddock or a muddy Pig field where it can be difficult to pick out.

Cheers

Bird not present this morning between 07.45 and 10.00. Met Eunice and partner who think it has departed, but mentioned they saw a / the Ibis at Gib Point on 21/12/13 - is that in the Gib Pt log Kev et al ?

Hi Phil. Yes, we are aware of the report, thanks, but it was only seen briefly by the finders, on The Mere.

Cheers

Have just had a message from Eunice - the Glossy Ibis was back in the big field at 1.15 this afternoon.

Phil

I have the details of the Gib sighting as I was informed of it about three days later by the observers.

Amazing that they have managed to find another one !
