Reported by Chris Bell (01/02/2014)

A flock of 30+ Snow Bunting in the outer sand dunes east of the boating lake at 15:00hrs.

I counted 33 but am sure that I missed some, and not wanting to disturb them opted for 30+.
They may well have gone inland at 15:50 in the direction of the Country Park.

Lots of other stuff around including Redshank, Knot, Barwit, Ringed Plover, Curlew, Little Egret, Shelduck, Brent ,Lapwing etc etc. The wind gusting to gale force at times preclude my sensibly sorting through flocks.

Thanks for Med. Gulls report Chris.
Am heading down M180 tomorrow and have not seen an adult at Cleethorpes.

There's normally Meds along the Cleethorpes stretch but a good bit of effort and patience are often required. Your best chance for seeing a Med at Cleethorpes is late afternoon when gulls arrive from inland to roost on the coast, though you may get lucky at any time of the day.

Cheers Chris.
Unfortunately I seem to be a bit short on patience the older I get. (must try harder)
I had one in 2012 on grassy area near boating lake car parks but never an adult. Where did you see your two birds?

One was on the mudflats between the leisure centre and the pier, the other was opposite Chapman's Pond
