In red Cross Charity shop in Brigg today picked up a book called "Where to watch birds,Britain"by Simon Harrap and Nigel Redman,got it for a quid,excellent thick paperback,includes my local,MSQ, a good write up too,how to get there,what to expect,to look out for,,,other interesting places in the book,Whitton sands,ive seen many similiar books but this is the best..

It would be great to write a book ''best bird watching sites in Lincolnshire'', along the lines of the 'Best bird watching sites in Norfolk'' book by Neil Glenn, the information is just invaluable for any birder.

I have a signed copy of where to watch birds in east midlands written by Graham Catley and someone else. I would offer it to you but it is up on my wall in a frame.
