The much improved visibility resulted in the expected clear-out of grounded migrants and very little was newly-arrived. The first Yellow Wagtail of the spring appeared at the south end with a White Wagtail and a Spotted Redshank was also the first record. 9 Redwings eventually departed inland to the SW and just singles of Chiffchaff and Wheatear were noted. Raptors were 5 Common Buzzards, female Hen Harrier, (yesterday's bird was the regular male), Marsh Harrier, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk. 3 Red-throated Divers were seen at sea.
