4 Year Ticks:

Whimbrel - wet grassland. Group of about 10 feeding on grass, with more flying in. The largest gathering of Whimbrel I've ever seen!
Greenshank - minding its own business away from the spotlight of Whimbrel that attracted a small crowd of telescopes on the visitor centre 'verandah'.
Common Tern - pair on scrape close to the East Hide.
Garganey - in pool on wet grassland just before I left for home circa 17:15.

Year List now 103. 17 species to go to my target of 120!

Usual duckage, waderage, goosage, swannage and gullage. 7 pairs of Black-headed Gulls seen mating during my visit!
