Trent Port area, Marton
3 May 2014
Early morning visit to local patch included the following sightings:
Curlew 1 calling
Lapwing 4
Cuckoo calling
Kingfisher 1
Sand martin 30+ (plus 16 active holes noted in Trent riverbank)
Gadwall 3 pairs
Tufted duck 1 pair
Sedge warbler 2 in song
Whitethroat 5 in song
Willow warbler 2 in song
Blackcap 2 in song
Linnet 8
