Some good early counts of species today including 4 personal 'first' sightings of the year,including Hairy D,Azure,Common-blue and Red-eyed Damselflies.The numbers where as follows:

131 Blue-tailed Damselfly
529 Azure Damselfly(Now the commonest species of Odonata on the reserve).
448 Common-blue Damselfly
8 Red-eyed Damselfly(All immatures)
6 Large-red Damselfly
7 Hairy Dragonfly

20 Hairy Dragonfly
2 Quads
402 Common-blue Damselfly
710 Azure Damselfly
225 Blue-tailed Damselfly
4 Red-eyed Damselfly
1 Large-red Damselfly
