The area behind east hide was heaving with small waders at high tide last night last night - between 6 and 7 p.m.

Dan has already mention Little and Temminck's Stint plus Curlew Sandpiper but the problem was
locating them amongst the Dunlin and Ringed Plover!

Up on the Humber, a curlew sand amongst 230 dunlin/80 ringed plover on Killingholme shore yesterday and still 210 black'wits on the adjacent haven pits. I was surveying there from 5.30am to 2pm and,as usual, never saw another birder.
