REPORTED:
From Birdline Northeast: Lincolnshire, Probable Golden Eagle 13:00 2mls W/of Stenigot flew NW/over Bain Valley.

Anyone know anything further ?

I Need to spend more time in this area,I obviously live in the wrong area for vagrant raptors,Booted Eagle,Pallid Harrier and now Golden Eagle.Are there any photos of this bird??.

A "possible" Golden Eagle was reported offshore at Titchwell around midday today. Last seen north of windfarm.

The plot thickens.

The report of Booted Eagle in Kent was followed by multiple sightings in Norfolk, people see what they want to see.....

Which is odd when even mobile phones can get decent record shots these days. My son got a very passable pic of a Red Kite over his house earlier this year on a phone...

Phil "few photos ever emerge". Have you seen the cover of the 2011 LBC bird report? I suspect the photographer would claim that pic was taken not too far from Stenigot...

By coincidence I was up there Thursday afternoon and saw no raptors, 6 singing corn buntings though and 3 yellow wags.
