I have checked out the area twice in the last seven days but water levels are very high and the only waders seen were 2 Lapwing and 9 Snipe on the 2/7 and 3 Snipe on the 5th. If water levels stay high then it will be a poor year for Green Sandpipers (35 on 26/7/2013).

I did a Webs count at Manby Flashes this morning and as Geoff says the water levels are very high. Waders included 60 Lapwings, 3 Snipe and 1 Green Sandpiper.
