Bit of a nightmare unfolding here - this summer, we've had 3 Greenfinches die from what I am almost certain is Trichomoniasis. Today, 2 others are on the feeders looking very fluffed up and lethargic.

We're going to clean the feeders on Tuesday as we usually do, but are there any other things I could do in my garden to help stop this terrible disease occurring in any more birds?

Hi Katherine,
I think you've made a slight Freudian slip here! The disease that relates to greenfinches etc. is trichomonosis. If you google it and go to the BTO Website it outlines all the precautions you can take in an effort to reduce the effects of infestation by this parasite.
Regards,
Stuart
