Great-white Egret was still at the pond behind the Abbey at Thornton this morning.

Went to pond behind Thornton Abbey this morning (28 Oct) where Great White Egret had been previously seen.
No sign only 1 adult Little Egret standing at the edge of pond with 2 juniors in the trees.
Kingfisher flew into the hedge while looking at Little Egrets. Could Great White Egret have been roosting among the Little Egrets? 2 Teal on pond with Gadwall, Mute Swans, Tufted Ducks, Little Grebe and Mistle Thrush seen on railings in front of Thornton Abbey and 2 beautiful Jays flew over!
