It's good not to have to drive for a change. Some friends asked if I'd like to accompany them to see the seals at Donna's Hook, I jumped at the chance, hadn't been for four years. We arrived mid-afternoon and it was heaving :) Like the new car park etc much better than before.

On the way near North Thoresby spotted a Curlew and Grey Heron in the mist.

While my friends were admiring the seals ( I did as well taking pics and vids) I was scanning towards the shoreline. Spotted 10 Eider going south and about 20 Snow Buntings, one Curlew, Oyks, GBB Gulls and Common Gull plus good numbers of Starlings on the road to the main car park.

Hoped to spot an owl on way home but nowt.

Really enjoyed the day and what a relief not to drive home

Passed the entrance to my fave out of town site, not been for sometime but must soon go.

Kind regards

JTG
