RBA have reported a Turtle Dove in a Lincoln garden today.

Could be interesting!

Hi Andy,
I believe it's near the house with a partridge in a pear tree!
Merry Christmas,
Stuart

It would be good if the finder could make contact with the webmaster of this forum
in the hope that Andy, or one of the Lincoln birders, might be permitted to take a look at the bird.

I should have mentioned that thanks to the observers of this bird photos have been made available confirming it is only the second winter record for the county as far as I can recall following a bird that wintered with Collared Doves at Cleethorpes from November 1966 to February 1967
