The Black Brant was relocated amongst the dark-bellied Brents on the mudflats at Donna Nook between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall. Although a distinctive and well-marked bird, it was not always easy to find, particularly when the large flocks tended to be flighty both here and over the realignment area. It was still present in the early afternoon. Only one pale-bellied Brent was present. Also of note were 2 Whooper Swans, a Woodcock in from the sea, at least 2 Lapland Buntings, 25 Rock Pipits, 30 Blackbirds, 12 Fieldfares, 6 Redwings and a Peregrine. 42 Whooper Swans were on the fields at the south end.
