4 hours on the patch this morning produced 47 species (all entered on Bird track) with the following highlights:-
1 Bittern on front edge of main reed bed
1 Woodcock flushed in the wood
1 Little Egret on field of Pig lane
1 Kingfisher on borrow pit
5 Lesser Redpolls in birches on Catchwater drain
c110 Fieldfares on same field as Little Egret
3 Goldcrests
single Buzzard, Sparrowhawk & Kestrel
