Barn Owl - flying up and down the bank in front of the Sugar Factory
Buzzard - perched on farm building roof
Kestrel - 3
Fieldfare - 2 groups - c40/16
Red-legged Partridge - 21
Reed Bunting - 12
Pied Wagtail 16
Pheasant
Lapwing
Moorhen
Swans - large group of 50+ but too distant in the murky light to determine species.

PS. Echoes of p341 of 'The John Reddisson Saga' - 'My Later Years' -published Nov 2013.....

" I was always pleased when 'Andy' stayed with us between anti-piracy duties.....It meant I had a companion to join me on my birding and butterfly trips....... Nocton Fen near Lincoln could be guaranteed to produce winter swans and owls."
