masses of common toads, doing what toads do, at the Brickpit, Chambers Fm Wood, today. Started yesterday I'm told, continued overnight.

Also reports of lizards and 6 grass snakes yesterday.

Returning to Lincs last night after weekend away saw dozens of dead and alive toads on the road at the Holton-cum-Beckering junction on the A158 at Bullington by the fishing ponds.

there's a toad crossing point at stragglethorpe bends but I've yet to see any.flat or flipping!
