I had 10+ sand martin reported to me on Saturday morning, over target pit.

The Bird Group carried out a bittern and water rail count on Friday evening and produced no booms but 18 water rails. This rail number is staggering compared to the numbers in the new LBC 2013 report.

Two Little Egret just flew over my house together - heading west over Far Ings. I have occasionally seen one in the area, nice to see two :-)
